Propapier PM 2 project with Metso advances according to schedule - Assembly work begins in July

Propapier’s project to erect a paper mill on a greenfield site in Eisenhüttenstadt, Germany, is advancing according to schedule. Jürgen Heindl, CEO at Progroup AG, and Frank Gumbinger, CFO at Progroup AG, together with Propapier’s project management team visited Metso’s Paper Machines Unit in Jyväskylä in Finland on June 10 to see and hear about the status of the project.

Progroup AG implements largest paper mill for corrugated base paper in Germany

Progroup AG, with headquarters in Offenbach a.d.Q./Germany, takes off. All official approvals for the construction of a new paper mill in Eisenhüttenstadt in the State of Brandenburg/Germany have been granted by the European Union, the State of Brandenburg as well as the city of Eisenhüttenstadt for the wholly-owned subsidiary Propapier PM2 GmbH & Co KG.

Progroup AG: Signing the contract with Metso Paper

On 30 January, 2008, Propapier PM2 GmbH & Co. KG, a full subsidiary of Progroup AG, signed a contract for the construction and delivery of a paper machine with stock preparation for corrugated base papers.
